The survey is officially closed, and we extend our gratitude to everyone who took the time to share their input. We received responses from almost 1,500 First Nations individuals across Canada – a powerful testament to the strength of our communities.
The survey aims to identify communication and process gaps between community members and housing authorities to better understand their challenges and collaboratively propose solutions.
To achieve this, the survey responses will be analyzed to generate actionable recommendations. These findings will be shared at the First Nations Housing Conference 2025, scheduled for February 4–6 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. During the conference, stakeholders will participate in two dedicated workshops aimed at refining Community Process and Communication Guidelines.
Additionally, the prize winners from each participating province will be announced on December 23, 2024!
