Founder Awards

Awarded to communities from Ontario recognized by the First Nations Housing Community.

The Founder Awards are a tribute to communities in Ontario that have shown exemplary commitment and collaboration within the First Nations Housing. This award recognizes the tireless efforts, leadership, and continuous dedication of these communities to foster best practices, share knowledge, and advocate for sustainable housing solutions. The recipients of the Founder Awards exemplify the spirit of unity and empowerment in working together to address the housing challenges faced by First Nations communities. Let’s celebrate these exceptional communities and their significant contributions to building a brighter future.

Provincial Awards

The Provincial Awards celebrate excellence in First Nations housing within each province/territory. Outstanding communities will be honored, one from each province or territory, for their exceptional contributions and dedication to building thriving, sustainable housing solutions. These awards shine a spotlight on the unique achievements and innovations happening at the local level, driving positive change and inspiration across the nation. Join us in recognizing and applauding the remarkable efforts of communities making a significant impact on housing in their regions.

Winners will be contacted directly by representatives of the First Nations Housing Community. All entries will be shared for viewing on the FNHC website and may be asked to present their story at the conference.
