A Community to Build Our Communities
The First Nations Housing (FNH) Community, a national association, aims to empower First Nations by collaborating with its members—representing people, communities, government, and industry—to co-create innovative housing solutions through a First Nations-led vision. By bringing these stakeholders together in a holistic effort, it strives to strengthen and uplift communities across Canada. Evolving from the 22-year legacy of the First Nations Housing Conference, the FNH Community serves as a dynamic hub for meaningful collaboration among stakeholders.
“By First Nations for First Nations”
The First Nations Housing Conference (FNHC) is Canada’s leading event dedicated to addressing housing challenges and promoting sustainable solutions for First Nations communities. Since its inception in 2003, the conference has been a premier platform for connecting housing professionals, industry leaders, government officials, and community members.
This year, the FNHC will take place February 4–6, 2025, at the Valhalla Hotel in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
With the theme “Exploring Challenges. Empowering Sustainability,” the 2025 conference will focus on tackling current housing issues and fostering innovative, sustainable solutions that empower First Nations communities.
