LARA HINTELMANN & JEFFREY HERSKOVITS, RYERSON UNIVERSITY

Lara and Jeffrey are team members of together design lab at Ryerson University. After graduating from their respective programs at the School of Urban and Regional Planning at Ryerson University, they joined the lab under the direction of Dr. Shelagh McCartney. With the team they work with First Nations communities investigating and creating innovative solutions to housing issues. The lab approaches its work from an immersive model of partnership, working with partners as well as community leaders and members to reimagine home environments through the values, goals and aspirations of our partners. Housing issues and solutions are not limited to discussions of basic shelter provision but are understood as central units of analysis of personal and community well-being.
